Visakhapatnam: Manuel Welfare Association submitted a memorandum to the Port Chairman on Tuesday seeking relief from coal dust and sulphur pollution. Association president Manikya Rao noted that people of Gnanapuram, Kancharapalem, Rammurthypantulapeta, Chavulamadhum, Allipuram, Acchiyammapeta, Kobbarithota and other areas in Old Town were severely affected by micro granulated coal and sulphur dust released from the port's uncovered yards.
